Sky Sports pundit makes Leeds United relegation prediction after Bournemouth beat Liverpool

Andy Walker believes that Leeds United will get relegated if they do not improve their form at home as they drew against Brighton on Saturday, 11 March.

The Whites drew 2-2 with the Seagulls while their relegation rivals Bournemouth picked up the unlikeliest of wins against Liverpool.

With that, the Cherries are in 17th place while the Whites are in 19th – two off the bottom side Southampton.

Walker, a Sky Sports pundit, was on commentary for the Premier League world feed and said at 15:24, 11/03, “They could go down. You see it’s unlikely for Bournemouth to get a win v Liverpool but they did. Leeds need to improve their home form if they stay up.”

Makes a valid point

Leeds need to bank on their home form as they’re a much more formidable outfit playing at Elland Road in front of their fans.

Statistically, teams tend to do better at home and it’s for Gracia to make the most of the matches they play there.

The game against Brighton on Saturday, 11 March, are the sort of clashes they would’ve lost had it not been for the crowd serving as the 12th man.

That said, they cannot discount away trips to sides that are in and around the relegation zone as they’re six pointers and could have a massive bearing on their momentum.

Leeds United

They’re going to have to pick up wins from somewhere as sides around them are getting unlikely results and that’s adding to the pressure on them.

Gracia needs to prove that he’s the right man for the job by winning these kinds of matches and also getting the odd results against the big sides.
