Sky Sports pundit: Leeds United bring Marcelo Bielsa back would be a disaster
Neil Warnock believes it would be a disaster for Leeds United to bring Marcelo Bielsa back at the helm as they sacked Jesse Marsch.
The Whites parted ways with the Argentine at a similar period last season to bring the American in and that move has not worked out.
Now, with them looking for managers again, Bielsa’s name has come up in the media, and Warnock, a Sky Sports pundit, believes that they should not go back to him.
He told talkSPORT, “I think Bielsa coming back would be a disaster.
“Someone I was talking to, I think the players were desperate for him to leave so I don’t think that would be the answer.”
Wasn’t going to happen
It seemed too romantic a story to get Bielsa back and we did not see it happening to begin with.
Sure, the fans would want to see him back, but it’s not a wise decision to explain from the hierarchy who sacked their most popular managers in 30 years only to bring him back after 10 months.
Even when the going was tough, a majority of the Elland Road faithful wanted the Argentine to stay as there was hope he would turn things around.

Leeds did go through some dry spells under him but each time they bounced back and Marsch’s tenure is what the owners get for being so knee jerk with their decisions.
Now, it remains to be seen who ends up walking through the door as there are a number of managers linker with the Elland Road hot seat.
Hopefully, they make the right call this time as it’s paramount after how much they’ve shelled out in the January transfer window.
