Sky Sports pundit claims all eyes will be on one thing before football returns for Leeds
David Prutton has claimed that all eyes will be on Germany before football returns to England and more importantly Leeds United.
The Bundesliga is set to resume at the beginning of May, and the Sky Sports pundit claims if that’s a success it would be good news for English football.
As it stands, the EFL are determined to finish the season and training could resume in the middle of May.
Prutton went on to admit that the FA will be watching and reflecting on how they can bring back football in the Premier League and Football League
“We will wait with bated breath and see what happens with Germany who are intending to resume on May 9,” he wrote in his Yorkshire Evening Post column.
“If that happens in the way they want it to happen then it might reflect on how we go about things in England.”
Borussia Dortmund released a photo of Erling Haaland returning to training on Friday, meaning that they are well on their way towards the season restarting already.
Leeds have made sure that their squad will be at the top of their game once the season does resume by giving them strict exercise routines, something we were given an insight into by Luke Ayling and Liam Cooper recently.
It will definitely be an experimental procedure bringing football back, and should Germany’s restart go well, we can expect it here hopefully sooner rather than later.
