Sky Sports share update on Leeds United ace Daniel James live from Wales camp
Geraint Hughes has reported that Leeds United winger Dan James looks set to start for Wales against Iceland on Monday.
The Welsh international was on the bench for his country at the weekend as they were held to a goalless draw by Turkey.
Having impressed since his return from injury, Hughes believes James could be in line for a start against Iceland on Tuesday (19 November).
Speaking on Sky Sports News from Wales’ Hensol training base near Cardiff, (18 November, 11:49 am) he said: “Dan James didn’t start at the weekend but there’s a really good chance he could do [against Iceland].
“Craig Bellamy has made no secret about how he likes to rotate against different opponents.”
Dan James can play a crucial role for Leeds United
If James can return from international duty unscathed, he could play a huge role for Leeds as they enter the hectic Christmas schedule.
The wide attacker has consistently showcased his ability as a top-end Championship player and the attributes he possesses cause a great threat to opposition teams. His availability will therefore be a huge boost for Daniel Farke.
His performance against Plymouth Argyle prior to the two-week break caught the eye of plenty and with the next international break not until March, James has an excellent opportunity to gain some momentum in the Championship with the Whites.

Farke’s side sit just two points behind the league-leading duo of Sunderland and Sheffield United, and a win against Swansea at the weekend could send them to the top depending on results around them.
With Leeds still a strong favourite to win promotion, the next few weeks could prove pivotal to their season.
