Sky News to air Leeds United special on Saturday morning

Sky News are set to air a special on Leeds United tomorrow morning (Saturday) with filming completed on Friday.

Tom Parmenter, a correspondent for Sky News, reported on his personal Twitter account that he’d been in Leeds to interview Kalvin Phillips and Lucas Radebe.

It remains to be seen what time the special will air but we’re sure that Sky Sports will relay it throughout the day.

Massive club

Everyone wants a bit of Leeds, don’t they?

We can’t blame them, we’re a massive club with a superb history and an exciting future ahead of us after the work that’s been done in the last few years.

And, of course, we currently have the best England player at the European Championships playing for us.

Phillips has been sensational in the last few years.

Marcelo Bielsa has transformed the midfielder from a mid-table Championship player, to a Championship title-winner to a top-half Premier League deep-lying playmaker.

Oh, and during that process he’s also been pretty good for England.

Gareth Southgate’s men play Ukraine in the Euro 2020 quarter-finals on Saturday night and Phillips is bound to play a key role yet again after such a strong campaign so far.

Jordan Henderson is back to full fitness but he’s still keeping the Liverpool captain, who’s won the Premier League and Champions League on the bench.

That’s how good our Kalvin is.

Granny Val would be so proud of him.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites are just one step away from this major new signing.
