Simon Jordan takes pop at Calvert-Lewin on talkSPORT as he makes Leeds admission
Leeds face West Ham at Elland Road on Friday as they look to end a three-match winless run in the Premier League.
After Leeds’ frustrating 2-0 loss to Burnley, they must bounce back and get themselves ready for what could be a huge match in the course of their season.
Daniel Farke is under pressure as Leeds’ goalscoring issues continue to rear their head, with the Peacocks sitting 16th in the Premier League table.
West Ham, who are 19th, are facing issues of their own, and Simon Jordan predicted the outcome of the match.

Leeds predicted to beat West Ham, Dominic Calvert-Lewin must perform
Dominic Calvert-Lewin has faced criticism for his performances in a Leeds shirt, and he is yet to endear himself to the Elland Road faithful.
Speaking on talkSPORT on 21 October, Jordan backed a Leeds win against West Ham, yet took aim at Calvert-Lewin’s goalscoring woes.
He said: “You’ve got to say, it’s at Elland Road, you’d expect Leeds to win. If Calvert-Lewin can eventually score a goal, then it is Leeds’ match to win.
“I like Leeds as a team, I think they were quite entertaining when I watched them against Burnley, but it’ll be a difficult game.”

In Leeds’ 2-1 defeat to Tottenham, Calvert-Lewin was guilty of missing chances, which ended up costing Farke’s side.
Having left Everton on a free transfer in the summer, the injury-prone striker is yet to hit the ground running, and whilst time must be given to every new player, Leeds’ current situation means they can’t afford to drop points due to fine margins.
West Ham are currently a team that is wounded, and they boast the worst defensive record in the league, meaning Calvert-Lewin must convert the chances that fall his way.
The 28-year-old is a proven goalscorer at this level, yet in his current form, a good point can be made to start either Joel Piroe or Lukas Nmecha.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin must improve if Leeds are to avoid relegation
Despite being predicted as favourites for relegation at the start of the season, Leeds have performed relatively well in a lot of their matches this season.
However, their inability to put away opportunities has cost them in several games, and a case can be argued that Calvert-Lewin should be dropped.
There are undoubtedly questions over Piroe’s ability to consistently start in the Premier League, whereas Nmecha perhaps doesn’t possess the aerial threat that Calvert-Lewin does.
However, both strikers would offer something different to the team, and Farke can’t continue to rely on an unreliable striker as the matches get considerably tougher for Leeds.
