Simon Jordan reacts to Jim White ‘Panic button’ review as Leeds United replace Marcelo Bielsa with Jesse Marsch
Jim White has interrogated Simon Jordan on Monday asking if Leeds United among other clubs pressed the panic button sacking their managers.
Marsch gained a vital win and his first three points on Sunday with a dramatic 94th-minute winner from Joe Gelhardt after replacing Marcelo Bielsa.
Jordan admitted that the likes of Watford, Norwich and Everton had no real choice, but Leeds made a questionable decision.

Speaking live on talkSPORT’s White and Jordan this morning (15 March), the host kickstarted the debate live on air.
“Has it been a surprise to you how quickly some clubs flirting with relegation have decisively hit the panic button and sacked their managers this season?” he said.
Jordan responded to the question and listed off the reason why the Whites were the one sticky area in that debate.
“Leeds was the ‘hmm’ moment,” he said. “Because of Bielsa and the fact of the challenge of Ted Lasso, sorry, Marsch coming in.”

Results.
That is the only thing that will silence all the critics and make this debate on whether sacking Bielsa was right disappear.
Even if it was the wrong call, there have been three games since now and it is time that we all move on.
The scenes after that last-gasp winner against Norwich proved that the fans have done just that and are 100% behind the squad and Marsch now.
Nothing is bigger than the football club, and all that we care about is survival and staying in the Premier League beyond this season.
There will be no talk regarding panic or the wrong call should Marsch start picking results up and save the Whites, let’s keep it that way until we have the answer at the end of the season.
