Simon Jordan reacts to Farke sack news as huge Leeds compensation claim made

Daniel Farke may be on his way out of Leeds United after winning Premier League promotion, with a massive pay-off mooted.

49ers Enterprises have doubts at Elland Road about the German manager as the Whites are set to return to the English top flight after a two-year wait.

Farke’s record at Norwich City wasn’t the best in the first division as he failed to help them survive relegation.

There could potentially be a significant change at the West Yorkshire outfit going into next season as the American owners seemingly look to avoid embarrassment.

49ers to hand Farke nice paycheck after Leeds United sack

Farke will possibly be handed a nice paycheck if the Whites sack him, Simon Jordan says.

The talkSPORT pundit believes that if the 49ers don’t trust the German manager to lead them in the Premier League, then they might replace him.

Jordan has urged the Elland Road faithful to come to terms with the decision if the West Yorkshire outfit end up relieving the 48-year-old head coach of his duties.

Speaking on talkSPORT (29 April, 10:14), the pundit said: “The Leeds owners will have the same ideas as fans, which is that we want the best version of the football club, but we want it in the Premier League.

“If these guys think the best version of Leeds is not with Farke, he’ll depart with a nice paycheck, a big reputation and go again. And fans have to accept that owners often make decisions because they think it’s the right thing to do for the football club.”

Farke deserves time at Elland Road

Farke’s done enough to warrant a stay at Elland Road beyond the current campaign after leading the Whites into the Premier League.

The West Yorkshire outfit could potentially be taking a huge gamble if they decide to replace the German manager at the end of the season.

With the likes of Southampton and Leicester City struggling in the top flight due to their poor squads, the 49ers should instead focus on bolstering the Peacocks’ team next summer.

Leeds still have the Championship title to play for after beating Bristol City 4-0 at home on Monday (28 April).

Burnley are level on points with the Whites, but are behind them on goal difference and have a relatively tougher fixture to end the campaign.

The West Yorkshire outfit travel to Home Park on 3 May while the Clarets host play-offs hopefuls Millwall.

Farke shouldn’t be sacked as there’s no guarantee that a new head coach will guarantee Premier League survival next season.

The best way the Peacocks can arguably prepare for the top flight is by heavily investing in their squad, but it remains to be seen whether that’ll happen.
