Simon Jordan: Leeds United made to be bedrock of community, Chelsea is not
Simon Jordan has insisted live on talkSPORT that Leeds United were made to be the bedrock of the local community.
The former Crystal Palace chairman was reacting to Chelsea takeover news, admitting that they aren’t built like other clubs.
Jim White was sharing plans for extensions of Stamford Bridge and so on when Jordan namedropped the likes of Leeds and Everton.

Speaking live on talkSPORT’s White and Jordan this morning [05 April, 10:40 am], the co-host namedropped the Whites.
“Whether we like it or we don’t, there are so many other things going on in London,” he said.
“They make football teams in London not to be that bedrock of communities like Liverpool are, Everton are, Sheffield Wednesdays are, Leeds United are.”

One club.
Leeds is more than just a club, it is a lifestyle.
Anyone who lives in West Yorkshire knows that all roads lead to Elland Road, and the majority of the county backs that.
Marcelo Bielsa helped bring that to life and brought us back to the Premier League, and now the possibilities are endless.
Of course, Jesse Marsch is now in charge and with the 49ers Enterprises backing him, changes are expected.
Elland Road could be expanded, new signings are expected – something Chelsea cannot do right now with no takeover in place.
The future is exciting at Leeds, and the one thing that will never change are the fans and the place of the club in their hearts.
In other Leeds United news, Andrea Radrizzani has broken his silence on Twitter sharing when he will leave the club
