Simon Jordan holds hands up as he gets Leeds United prediction badly wrong
Simon Jordan has reacted after Leeds United secured an all-important win against Middlesbrough on Tuesday.
The Whites travelled to the Riverside on 8 April and came away with all three points thanks to a Dan James strike after two minutes.
Things could have been easy for Daniel Farke’s side as both Ao Tanaka and Patrick Bamford had goals wrongly ruled out for offside.
The result proved Jordan wrong and, more importantly, sent the LS11 club back to the top of the Championship with five games to go.

Jordan gets it wrong in Middlsbrough v Leeds prediction
The Elland Road side had encountered a rough patch of form in the second tier until their trip to the North East in mid-week.
Before this, the Whites had fallen to three consecutive draws against QPR, Swansea City and most recently Luton Town in a highly disappointing run.
This handed the advantage to both Sheffield United and Burnley who occupied the top two places for a matter of days.
Position | Club | Games played | Goal difference | Points |
1. | Leeds United | 41 | +52 | 85 |
2. | Burnley | 41 | +43 | 85 |
3. | Sheffield United | 41 | +25 | 83 |
With that being said, it is little surprise that Jordan would predict a home win for Boro against Leeds in a move which would extend the Blades’ spot in the automatic promotion places.
Farke and Co. proved the former Crystal Palace owner wrong, and now he has reacted to the result while speaking on talkSPORT (9 April, 10:20am).
He said: “Good result, great result. I forecasted Leeds’ doom yesterday.
“I’ve put the evil eye on Chris Wilder now because I tipped him to be the manager that I would most want to be in the situation of going up.”

Leeds United must build on Middlesbrough win
There are just five games remaining in the second tier and the Whites need to take advantage of each and every one of those.
If they want to fulfil their aim of returning to the Premier League, slip ups just won’t work as Sheffield United and Burnley wait in the wings.
The win against Boro was proof that Leeds can perform at a top level under pressure and secure a huge three points in doing so.
The fact that Tanaka and Bamford should have had goals of their own sums up everything good about Farke’s men against difficult opposition.
Looking forward, the German head coach needs to utilise the positivity surrounding this result to spur his side on in the remaining games.
