Sevilla want Marc Roca as Leeds United exit edges closer amid advanced talks
Europa League winners Sevilla are interested in signing Leeds United midfielder Marc Roca during the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes.
Football League World reported on Saturday 10 June that Real Betis were in advanced talks with the 26-year-old midfielder.
However, Fichajes now claim on Monday 12 June that Sevilla want to hold negotiations with Leeds over a possible move for Roca, with the door now open for a summer exit.

Let him go
Considering Leeds didn’t produce a huge outlay on Roca, this is a move they could give up on fairly quickly. He’s a neat and tidy technician, but that’s about it.
He will be one of the higher earners and is probably not too keen on helping the Whites get back into the Premier League. Moving him on will allow for the new boss – whoever it may be – to assemble a squad he feels is capable of securing promotion to the top flight.

The quicker Leeds deal with the potential exits, the better. When a new boss is eventually appointed, a blank canvas will be required. Large parts of the squad have no experience in the Championship and Leeds know better than any of how hard promotion can be.
The Elland Road faithful will expect nothing less and rightly so. They’re completely entitled to expect an immediate return to the top flight – particularly with the 49ers now in charge.
In other Leeds United news, a BBC pundit has been left stunned as Phil Hay has dropped a fresh update on who the Whites are considering bringing in as manager this summer.
