Talent Scout Lee Beck has delivered a message to Leeds United forward Joe Gelhardt after the 3-0 win against Reading under-23s.
The young Whites took control of the Premier League 2 on Monday, with goals from Stuart McKinstry and Liam McCarron at Thorp Arch.
Gelhardt was inspirational in the win and would have impressed Marcelo Bielsa after making the bench on numerous occasions for the senior side recently.
Beck delivered the message on his personal Instagram account, as he was awestruck by Gelhardt’s work on the ball against the Royals.
“Joseph Gelhardt could meg a mermaid,” he wrote.
Beck works for Triple S Sports & Entertainment Group, which is more of an agency than a Scouting brand based on their description.
Their bio reads on their website: “Triple S Communications provides media solutions for high-profile individuals and brands in the sport, entertainment, business, medical and charity sectors.”
Gelhardt is actually represented by Triple S, and it appears as though they are delighted with their client as he continues to shine for the Whites.
It shouldn’t be long until the young striker earns his Premier League debut, and follow in the footsteps of the likes of Niall Huggins, who did just that against Arsenal.
Gelhardt is catching the eye of everyone around Elland Road, and we can’t wait to see what happens next for the 18-year-old.
