Sam Greenwood axed from Leeds United starting XI v West Ham United - Sky Sports pundit
We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist as each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United…
Paul Robinson believes Sam Greenwood could be axed from the Leeds United starting XI for their Premier League clash against West Ham United.
The midfielder was handed a start in the 2-2 draw against Newcastle United but was substituted at halftime by Sam Allardyce.
Elsewhere, Robinson has backed Pascal Struijk to come back into the side and start for the first time under Allardyce in place of the suspended Junior Firpo.
“The team doesn’t change too much. Pascal Struijk comes in for Firpo at left-back,” Robinson exclusively told MOT Leeds News
“With Robin Koch and Sam Greenwood alongside Weston McKennie, I would be very surprised if he changed from that, other than Struijk coming in at left-back.

“Maybe Adam Forshaw coming back in for Greenwood.”
The trip to the London Stadium is now a must-win for the Whites after the dramatic draw against Newcastle United at Elland Road.
Tottenham follow on the final day, but, if results go against Leeds, they could find themselves in the Championship before Ryan Mason’s side make the trip to West Yorkshire.
Leeds are currently without Firpo, Stuart Dallas, Tyler Adams, Luis Sinisterra and Liam Cooper for the trip to East London on Sunday (21 May).
In other Leeds United news, a manager the Whites wanted this season has spoken out about the experience and admitted he wants a chance in the Premier League.
