Sam Allardyce shares ‘difficult’ Leeds United promotion verdict amid buyout clause claim
Sam Allardyce believes immediate promotion to the Premier League will be “difficult” for Leeds United next season.
The former Whites boss, who was in charge of the club for the final four matches of last season, has that belief due to the relegation buyout clauses of some players.
Allardyce noted that new manager Daniel Farke could be happy with his squad, but could then find himself without some key players if their buyout clauses are activated.

“Can Leeds bounce back?” host Alan Brazil asked Allardyce live on talkSPORT.
Allardyce replied: “It’s difficult because of who they are going to have to sell and of course difficult because they are not in control of some of the players because of the buyout clauses in the contracts if they got relegated.
“And you know what the game is like; the manager is going along there thinking that everything is okay, the season is going to start in August, and lo and behold three or four players could be gone at the drop of a hat because somebody hits the buyout clause and there will be nothing that Leeds can do about that.”

Tough situation
It’s a tough situation that Leeds find themselves in, with the West Yorkshire club having already lost several key players so far this summer.
The likes of Robin Koch, Rasmus Kristensen, Brenden Aarsonson and Marc Roca have all left Elland Road temporarily, with star striker Rodrigo sealing a permanent exit.
And if the Whites are to lose any more senior men, it means that new Whites boss Farke will need to do the majority of his business sooner rather than later.
Leeds will find it difficult in the Championship this season anyway, but that task will be made much harder if they lose one or two more players right as the window is drawing to a close.
Farke needs all the help he can get on the pitch next season, with the German set to be desperate for his current group to get to work and hit the ground running as the new campaign rapidly approaches.
In other Leeds United news, one journalist has told Farke to find a number 10 as his recruitment team “work on solutions” in that area.
