Roy Keane makes big Leeds admission after heavy 6-2 defeat v Man United

Roy Keane admits that he loves the way Marcelo Bielsa has Leeds United playing and claims they will avoid relegation from the Premier League this season.

Leeds were hammered 6-2 at Old Trafford by Manchester United on Sunday night, leaving a lot of questions marks about whether Bielsa can keep this team in the league.

However, Keane has no such concerns and has suggested he’s a big fan of Bielsa and his way of managing his team.

“The key for Leeds is survival and with the points total they have so far it’s been outstanding. I think Leeds will be fine,” said Keane on Sky Sports Premier League on Sunday, as shown on Football Daily’s Twitter account.

When asked if he likes the way Leeds play, the ex-Man United captain said: “I love it. I think it’s brilliant.

“We talk about sport being entertainment and that’s what they did today.

“They’ve had a lesson from Man United but Man United are a very, very good team.

“Overall, that manager (Bielsa), we’re talking about changing his ways but his belief is what makes him a great coach. Obviously if they stay in the league, they will tweak it and they will learn but he’s not going to change his ways of coaching. All the top managers and coaches are stubborn and we saw that in the interview there. You could get frustrated with some of his answers.”

Even Bielsa can put a smile on Keane’s face

A lot of Leeds fans are hurting after that defeat.

After the way we played against Liverpool, Arsenal and Everton, you cannot help but think that the Whites stand a chance against established Premier League sides like Man United.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have shown a lot of weaknesses this season. They’ve lost to Istanbul Basaksehir and Crystal Palace and struggled to beat teams like West Brom, Brighton and Sheffield United.

It is easy to look at this Man United team and say they’re winnable.

We may have underestimated them a little bit but at the end of the day, there are some top players in that Man United side and on their day, they can beat teams like Paris Saint-Germain.

In other Leeds United news, fans tore this player to shreds for a “joke” of a display at Man United.
