Ronaldinho wants ‘quality’ Leeds United ace Raphinha at Barcelona
Leeds United are facing an uphill battle to keep hold of star player Raphinha with continued transfer speculation surrounding him.
The 25-year-old’s agent, Deco, is in Spain to try and fast-track contract talks with the Catalan giants, according to UOL Sport, but the Whites are holding firm on their asking price.
Being a Brazilian, Raphinha was probably in awe of what Ronaldinho used to do on the football pitch and now the former Barcelona, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain has weighed in on the situation.
The 42-year-old loves what he sees of the Leeds winger and wishes he would make the move to the Spanish coast to join Barcelona.
“I would very much like Raphinha to come to Barça, I think he would fit in very well. I know him a lot and he has a lot of quality,” as quoted by Albert Roge on Twitter.
Don’t listen to him
Sure, Barcelona looks like a very tempting prospect and Xavi has been working wonders to turn that ship around from disaster but they are not out of the woods yet.
Despite their financial horrors, they have kept spending money and that is going to come back and bite them very sharply on their derriere soon.

Leaving a club on the up in Leeds United for one on the decline as the Catalans are could be hugely detrimental to his career and he has to make sure he is 100% convinced it’s the right move for him.
What Jesse Marsch could build at Elland Road may well be a special team that breaks the mould in the Premier League but you know exactly what you’re going to get at Barcelona.
And with the wealth of talent available to Xavi in wide areas, he might not be a certain starter at the Nou Camp and he would definitely regret leaving then.
In other Leeds United news, this Thorp Arch-linked shot-stopper wants to leave his current club, according to his agent.
