Rodrigo shares instant reaction as Leeds United confirm Adam Forshaw exit news
Former Leeds United forward Rodrigo Moreno has quickly reacted to the Instagram post thanking the departing Adam Forshaw for his service to the club.
The Whites shared that Forshaw will always be welcome back at Elland Road, as he becomes the latest in a long line to move away from West Yorkshire.
Rodrigo’s short but sweet message was appreciated by Leeds fans, as he cracks on with his new adventure over in Qatar after becoming one of those to leave.

Rodrigo also left Elland Road this summer to join Al-Rayann in the Qatari Stars League, following Leeds’ relegation to the Championship. The pair shared a changing room at Leeds for three years but Forshaw has now also ended his five-year stay with reports saying the next step in his career has already been decided.
Forshaw made 91 appearances for the Whites across both the Championship and Premiership and there has been some frustration from some Leeds fans, with one commenting on the Instagram post, “this is a mistake, he’d have bossed the Championship.”
Love for Forshaw
While it’s a testament to the closeness of the group that played for Leeds throughout their three years in the Championship, what caught the eye in the comments of Leeds’ post was the outpouring of frustration from fans that Forshaw wouldn’t be continuing at Elland Road.
The 31-year-old only managed five starts in the 2022-23 season as he struggled with fitness issues that limited his ability to hold down a place while the Whites succumbed to Premier League relegation.

Sometimes it can be just as frustrating as a fan when you see a player with obvious quality, like Forshaw, that isn’t able to stay fit enough to make the impact their ability warrants and with the midfielder choosing to take his career elsewhere, he might be hoping a fresh start brings him better luck.
Regardless of where he ends up next, Forshaw will only need to take a quick glance at Instagram to see that there is plenty of love for him at Elland Road, not just from the fans, but his former teammates as well.
