Rodrigo return to Valencia from Leeds United on the cards as forward speaks out
Rodrigo has admitted that he is enjoying his life at Leeds United but a potential return to Valencia in the future can never be ruled out.
The Spaniard joined the Whites in the summer of 2020 for a fee of £26m [BBC Sport] from Valencia. He was a hero at Mestalla and the player has fond memories of his former club.
Rodrigo spent six seasons at Valencia where he scored 59 goals in 220 appearances for Los Che.

“I have always had a special affection for Valencia and its fans,” said Rodrigo to AS.
“We accomplished important things in the years I was there and I am fond of the city, personally and professionally. My daughter was born in Valencia and I spent most of my career there.
“A return? You never know what the future may bring. Right now I am very happy at Leeds and fully focused on our objectives.”
Nostalgic
Rodrigo struggled under Marcelo Bielsa and at one point it felt like he is facing difficulty in adjusting to the pace of the league.
However, he looks a completely different player under Jesse Marsch who has given him tremendous confidence. Rodrigo has returned his faith with nine goals and an assist in the Premier League.
It felt like he picked up a magical form prior to the World Cup break, where he scored in four consecutive games, including a brace against Tottenham.

Rodrigo has a contract at the club until 2024, and Leeds have no intention of selling him at the moment.
With Patrick Bamford and Crysencio Summerville picking up injuries, Marsch will be pinning hopes on Rodrigo to deliver once more.
Having said that, anything can happen in a transfer window, and Rodrigo could desire to return to his former club towards the later stages of his career, if there’s an offer on the table.
Right now, as he said, it’s out of the question.
