Rodrigo exit from Leeds United picks up pace already with English transfer on the cards
Rodrigo’s potential Leeds United exit is already picking up pace, with “interest” in the striker from England, according to the Mirror.
The striker seems destined to leave Elland Road this summer after the club were relegated to the Championship.
Their fate was settled after a 4-1 defeat to Tottenham on the final day of the Premier League season on Sunday (28 May).

“Leeds’ highest earner, ironically, produced his best season for the Whites in the year they go down,” according to the Mirror.
“Signed upon their return to the top flight, Rodrigo has been inconsistent but came alive this term, although his goals were not enough to keep Leeds up.
“There will be interest in the forward from England as well as abroad but it suits both parties for the player to be moved on.”

Time to go
Rodrigo will be one of several players who are very likely to leave Leeds this season, with the star striker definitely too good to be playing in the Championship.
The Spaniard is still more than capable of doing a job in the Premier League, as he showed time and again in a struggling side, but it remains to be seen if he wants another go in England’s top flight.
Relegation from the division will have hit him hard, but he is one of the few Whites players who can hold their heads high after their relegation.
Rodrigo hit 13 goals despite his injury-hit campaign as his fellow Leeds let themselves down in the final third.
There will be very few Leeds fans who will be annoyed if the striker does make an exit from Elland Road this summer, given both his efforts this season and his potential to further his career elsewhere.
