Robin Koch sends message to Leeds United fans after Crystal Palace defeat

Robin Koch thanked the Leeds United fans for their support after his side suffered a 2-1 defeat against Crystal Palace on Sunday in the Premier League.

The Germany international started the game alongside Liam Cooper ahead of Diego Llorente who was on the bench.

Leeds now find themselves in 14th place and could drop a place further if Aston Villa manage to beat Nottingham Forest later on Monday, 10 October.

Koch wrote on Twitter, “Thanks to our fans for the support yesterday at Selhurst Park. It’s now time for us to get back to winning ways. We are working hard for that.”

Things need to improve

Leeds started the game very strongly as they should’ve and even went on to take an early lead which was a deserving one for them.

Instead of seizing the initiative and going for the second, the Whites gave the hosts a chance to get back into the game.

They scored an important equaliser in the first half to go at the break deadlocked and then scored the winner in the second half.

The Whites certainly want to avoid a relegation battle but if they do not manage to pick up points against teams around them, they will keep dropping down the table.

After the first few weeks, they were among the top eight but now are among the bottom eight and they must make the most of their run of games.

They have Leicester, Bournemouth and Fulham in their next five games and they must pick up at least seven points from them.
