Robin Koch reveals he is back in training for Leeds United
Leeds United defender Robin Koch has revealed on his Instagram that he is back in training for the Whites ahead of the 2021/22 Premier League campaign.
The 24-year-old posted a story with the caption “back” and revealed that his location was Leeds. The German international had a disrupted first season at Elland Road, so it is good to see that he is back in Leeds and putting in the hard work.
Koch ended the season in and out of the team after a long spell out injured, but he seems determined to come back and fight, and it is good to see that he is back in Leeds and working hard.

Surprised to see Koch back
The German was given extra time off by Marcelo Bielsa before the end of the season to prepare himself for the Euros with Germany. He was included in the squad, but didn’t play a game for his country before they lost to England in the round of 16. [Daily Mail].
Therefore, it is great to see the 24-year-old back in Leeds with the Whites’ Premier League campaign just over a month away now.
Koch started last season as one of Marcelo Bielsa’s first-choice centre-backs, but the injury he suffered coupled with Diego Llorente’s form saw Koch end the season as more of a bit-part player.

There is some healthy competition at centre-back now for Leeds, and it is fantastic to see Koch putting in that extra work as he looks to force his way back into Bielsa’s plans.
We are sure that many Leeds fans will be pleased to see Koch back in Leeds putting in the fitness work required to play regularly in Bielsa’s side.
We hope that he can kick on this season and really prove why the Whites splashed out on him during the last summer transfer window.
