Robin Koch medical scheduled as Leeds United loan exit all but done – Fabrizio Romano

Robin Koch is close to leaving Leeds United on loan, with medical tests scheduled for the defender at Eintracht Frankfurt, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The transfer specialist noted that the loan transfer is done, with the 26-year-old centre-back accepting all conditions of the deal.

Romano added that the Bundesliga club have now scheduled medical tests ahead of his temporary move to the German side.

“Eintracht have scheduled medical tests for Robin Koch – done deal, he’s set to join German club on loan from Leeds as per BILD,” Romano wrote on Twitter.

“Koch has accepted all conditions of the deal.”

Exit close

With the impending takeover, it was always going to be a very busy summer for Leeds, with everything taken up a level following the club’s relegation from the Premier League.

Given the miserable campaign, many senior players were perhaps weighing up their future at Elland Road, and now the summer transfer window is finally here, the expected exits can now take place.

One player that was destined to move on is Koch, with the centre-back attracting plenty of suitors despite the club’s disastrous defending last time out.

The German will not want to be playing regularly in the English second division, and he now looks set to have a way out, with the defender closing in on a switch to Frankfurt.

He definitely has the potential to shine in his homeland, but there is every chance that he still has a future at Leeds, but perhaps only if they make an immediate return to the Premier League.

In other Leeds United news, one Whites star has told his friends he’s excited to exit Elland Road, with a loan-to-buy on the cards.
