'Ridiculous', 'Shocking' - These Leeds fans slam 'Embarrassing' Tuesday update

Now that Saturday’s 3-3 draw against Cardiff City is somewhat out of the way, attention now switches to a much-harder run of fixtures in the Championship for Leeds United.

In the space of three weeks, Leeds come up against Fulham, Preston North End, and West Brom – all crucial games in the promotion push for the Whites.

Preston’s recent slump in form could have led to that game not being as important, but their recent win over Luton pushed them into third in the league.

Leeds released on their official Twitter account on Tuesday evening that Preston had failed to sell out their entire ticket allocation for the Boxing Day clash.

Many Whites’ fans immediately reacted to the update, claiming that it was embarrassing that a side sitting third in the Championship would not bring a bigger set of fans for the game.

Below are a selection of Tweets…

As many Leeds fans often self confess, they believe they are the best in the country. We have to admit they do have a very strong case.

Whenever another side slips in their allocations just even a little, they tend to jump on that and revel in the disappointment of the away support.

Leeds fans will now get the chance to fill the lower tier of the away end in the West Stand, but that didn’t stop many others from jumping on the bandwagon.

Christmas fixtures at Elland Road are often exciting. Take a look at last season, when Blackburn visited West Yorkshire, it took two injury times goals from Kemar Roofe to seal a 3-2 victory for Bielsa’s side.

In other Leeds United news, this Leeds player could have dropped a hint on his future at the club with his recent comments.
