Richard Keys sends message to Jesse Marsch after Leeds United defeat v Leicester

Richard Keys has delivered a message to Leeds United head coach Jesse Marsch after his debut against Leicester.

The Whites somehow fell to a 1-0 defeat despite dominating the Foxes, and now go into games against Aston Villa and Norwich this week.

Keys has urged Marsch to keep it simple and admitted that he likes the American after what he has achieved already.

Writing in his own blog on his website, Keys saved a special paragraph just for Marsch after his Premier League debut.

“Well done Jesse Marsch,” he said. “It took him four days to get Leeds looking like a team again.

“I expect to hear a lot coaching-jargon going forward – but the start point was simple – ‘defend well – keep our shape – and hit them when we can’.  They deserved more out of the game at Leicester.

“Marsch seems to be a likeable guy. Let’s hope he gets it right. And keeps it simple.”

Clown.

Is Keys being serious?

It’s only a couple of days ago that the controversial pundit was questioning Marsch and his huddle at the end of the game at Leicester.

Now that Marsch and the Whites have been heavily praised for their changes, he is all of a sudden a big fan and wishing us well.

It only adds to his need to be involved and have controversial opinions on every last thing that happens in the Premier League.

Marsch is making small changes and has spoken well so far, but he will know that it means nothing until he has sealed some wins and picked up points.

The only thing on his mind, as ours right now, is survival in the Premier League, and these changes will mean nothing unless he achieves that.
