Richard Keys: Look at Marcelo Bielsa, Jesse Marsch has already done better at Leeds United
Richard Keys has flown off the hinges looking at Premier League managers, using Marcelo Bielsa and Leeds United as an example.
The beIN Sports host was left raging at Ralf Rangnick at Manchester United and this new breed of “school teacher.”
Keys picked out Bielsa as an example, insisting that Jesse Marsch is already doing better at Elland Road since arriving.

Writing on his latest blog on his own website, Keys picked out Bielsa when looking at these so-called geniuses.
“And to think – he [Rangnick] was greeted as the man who invented the modern game,” he wrote. “He was the brains behind the hyper-press. He was the ‘coaches coach’. That’s what they told us. Except he wasn’t.
“He conned us. I actually believed some of the things he was saying at first – but it was all puff. He can’t do the job. On paper – and PowerPoint – he almost certainly looks and sounds great. But that’s the trouble with these school teachers.
“They all do. Look at Bielsa – what did he do at Leeds that Marsch isn’t doing better already?”

Moving on.
Of course, Marsch has had a fantastic past month in charge of the Whites.
Picking up a draw and three wins in our past four games has seen us create a very big gap to the bottom three at Elland Road.
But, there has to be context too.
Bielsa finished his time in West Yorkshire with games against Liverpool, Manchester United and Spurs, whereas Marsch has faced Norwich, Wolves and Watford.
We look back with fondness on Bielsa, and it is no insult that all we think about is Marsch and how he is doing with this squad now.
El Loco will also be a hero forever after what he achieved at the club, taking us back to the promised land when it had looked so impossible for nearly 20 years.
Now it is a new era, and Marsch is the man in charge who is tasked with pushing us from surviving relegation to consistently finishing in the top half.
