Richard Dunne calls for three key Leeds United players to leave in summer
Richard Dunne has urged Aston Villa to make a move for three Leeds United players as they look to make waves in the Premier League under Steven Gerrard.
The Sky Sports pundit named Kalvin Phillips, Raphinha and Rodrigo as potential “star” options for Villa in the summer transfer window.
“There’s obviously talk of Kalvin Phillips going there and that’d be a great signing,” said Dunne, as per LeedsLive.
“You look at Raphinha and Rodrigo, they’d be good to bring in.”
He added: “You’re looking for a star player in each position. It seems like they have a lot of money to spend, but it’ll be interesting to see who he [Gerrard] targets.”

A host of Leeds stars might have been linked with moves away from the club this season whilst they were undergoing turmoil but they won’t be such a soft touch next season which will hopefully see them stay at Elland Road.
You can understand Raphinha leaving for Barcelona or another brilliant player going to a club with great pedigree but why on earth would any of the Whites trio mentioned by Dunne leave to go to Aston Villa?
Understandably they are embarking on a new journey under Gerrard with a lot of cash to spend and pay their players but there is virtually no difference between the Clarets and Leeds.
It is very insulting to suggest that they would leave the club for a move that wouldn’t advance their career in any way.
Hopefully, Jesse Marsch’s impact since his arrival at the club sees their best players stay which will allow the Whites to return to the brilliant levels they have shown so often since returning to the Premier League.
