Rich Williams shares what Leeds United fans chanted v Arsenal

Leeds United suffered their third Premier League defeat in a row as they lost 4-1 against Arsenal on Saturday at Elland Road.

Just like what happened with them against Manchester City, Leeds were completely outplayed once again by Mikel Arteta’s side.

However, the Whites fans showed tremendous support to the team throughout, especially during the final few minutes.

Williams, who works as a broadcaster on LUTV, wrote on Twitter:

“36,000 chanting ‘We all love Leeds’ from the 85th-93rd minute, like we’ve just won the game. Leeds fans, that.”

Crisis

It was indeed a great sight to behold that Leeds fans kept chanting while their team suffered yet another heavy defeat.

Such a show of solidarity is rare in modern football, and probably that is why Leeds fans are special.

While there have been talks among the pundits whether Marcelo Bielsa should step down, Leeds have made it clear that they keep complete faith in the Argentine.

They are going through a bad phase this season, mainly due to injuries to several key players. However, there is also a belief that the results will improve once the players start returning.

Bielsa was left with no options but to field a weakened side.

The defence was completely ravaged, with the likes of Liam Cooper, Diego Llorente, Pascal Struijk, Luke Ayling and Junior Firpo all missing. Youngster Charlie Cresswell also picked up a shoulder injury in training.

The latest round of the Covid attack could actually work in favour of Leeds if the rest of the Premier League clubs decide to take a break for a while.

The break will help the players to regroup, and recover from their injuries.

In other Leeds United news, the Daily Mail has reared its ugly head again with a disgraceful story about this Whites ace.
