Report: Michael Olise will leave Reading this summer, Leeds want to sign him

Leeds United-linked Michael Olise will leave Reading in the summer after missing out on promotion, according to TEAMtalk.

The French sensation is highly rated and is being tracked by the likes of Bayern Munich and Lille with the window around the corner.

It has been reported that the 19-year-old will not be at the Madejski Stadium much longer, with numerous European clubs sniffing around.

Olise could be available for a bargain.

The Royals have inserted a release clause in his deal, meaning that clubs could sign the winger for only £8million in the summer [The Athletic].

With Pablo Hernandez leaving the club this summer, there is a clear spot for someone such as Olise this summer in the final third.

The youngster has produced similar numbers to El Mago in the Championship, and can also play out wide, which is something that Marcelo Bielsa will love.

Olise has been in brilliant form this season, and he first popped up onto the scene at Elland Road.

We remember sitting in the East Stand during that 1-0 victory against the Royals, and it was the slender winger with brilliant skill making a fool out of the likes of Kalvin Phillips.

The Yorkshire Pirlo was struggling with an early injury and Olise took full advantage of that by twisting and turning him inside and out with relative ease.

Olise found the back of the net seven times last season, and also added 12 assists, in what was a massive success for the French sensation.

What a talent, the Whites will have to move quickly.
