Report: Leeds United want to sign Yangel Herrera, Man City open to offers
Leeds United are keen on bringing Manchester City midfielder Yangel Herrera to Elland Road this summer, according to The Sun.
The Premier League champions are open to listening to offers for the Venezuelan who spent last season out on loan at Granada.
It’s understood that he is valued at £20million and City will be willing to sell him at that price.

The Whites are among a few Premier League clubs that have kept an eye on the midfielder and could be in line for tabling an offer this summer.
He’s been tracked by Southampton in the past and West Ham have also shown an interest in securing his services.
Solid acquisition
The 23-year-old may not be ready to start week in week out for Man City, but that doesn’t mean he’s not good enough to add value to our team.
At £20million, he’s not the cheapest of players out there, but he comes highly recommended, having impressed in Spain and the United States previously.
Speaking about him in 2017, then New York City FC manager Patrick Vieira said, as quoted by Goal, “He’s a tactically intelligent midfielder who is strong in the tackle and reads the game well. Yangel also has good passing range and spatial awareness, which is crucial for a player in his position.”

Vieira, who is widely recognised as one of the best ever Premier League midfielders, certainly knows what he’s talking about and can identify a good player when he sees one.
Marcelo Bielsa loves players that are tactically intelligent as he demands a lot from his side.
He expects them to learn new positions and challenges them to develop new skills.
Herrera certainly seems like someone willing to grasp Bielsa’s teachings and could be a phenomenal acquisition for us this summer.
