Rene Maric reacts as Jordan Davison quits Leeds United

Rene Maric has sent a message to Jordan Davison as he took to Twitter to announce his permanent exit from Leeds United.

The former Whites assistant coach wished Davison the best of luck as they were colleagues for a short while at Elland Road.

He worked as a recruitment analyst for the first team but will now be parting ways with the club.

Davison wrote on Twitter, “Thank you for everything LUFC. Starting off as the U16 analyst to finishing with the 1st team, I fell in love with the club. Very grateful for my journey, working with some amazing people along the way. Wishing everyone at the club all the very best for the future.”

To which Maric responded, “All the best, was a too short pleasure working with you, thanks for everything and I am sure you will be doing great!”

Changes afoot

Daniel Farke’s arrival is seeing changes being made left, right and centre at Elland Road and it’s interesting to see what’s next for the club.

The German has come to the club with a fixed plan in mind and surely would’ve had to have made a special case over the other candidates for the job.

He’s got the Championship experience as well so most Leeds fans would’ve wanted him over the likes of Scott Parker and Patrick Vieira.

Leeds United

Whether or not Davison’s exit is down to Farke or merely a coincidence, remains to be seen, but managers do like someone coming in to do their recruitment.

Being somewhat of a Championship specialist, Farke will know the type of players he’d need to get things going at Leeds.

They’ve already got a fine squad and one of the most expensive ones in the history of the second flight so he’s already got plenty to work with.

In other Leeds United news, the club have been handed a boost to sign a Manchester United player this summer with Erik ten Hag likely to sanction his exit.
