Reliable journalist shares if Leeds United set to make move for Club Brugge forward Noa Lang

Leeds United are reportedly not keen on signing Club Brugge forward Noa Lang this summer despite wanting to sign a forward.

According to TEAMtalk journalist James Marshment, the Whites are not keen on rekindling their interest in the Dutchman even if they fail to sign Charles De Ketelaere.

If they cannot bring in Lang’s teammate, they will turn to PSG striker Arnuad Kailimuendo and not pay the £21.2million fee Fabrizio Romano claims Brugge will want for Lang.

When asked on Twitter if Leeds will look to sign the Dutch international, Marshment wrote, “I don’t think Leeds are keen any longer. More likely to go for Kalimuendo if we miss De Ketelaere.”

Mistake?

Lang will be significantly cheaper than Charles De Ketelaere and would be able to lead the line for Leeds next season.

He’s got blistering pace, good ball control and the ability to find the back of the net – something that Jesse Marsch would love in his striker.

Apart from scoring goals, he also brings others into the game and sets up chances for players around him, which explains his high assist numbers.

He’s a complete forward who’s still in the dawn of his career and will only get better with time.

In terms of the speed of football, the Premier League is tailor-made for Lang to hit the ground running and he will make Leeds a better team.

However, it seems like most of the noise surrounding him came when Marcelo Bielsa was in charge while Marsch appears to be having his heart set on other players.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites have submitted a fresh bid to sign their first-choice target this summer as a Champions League club has pulled out of the deal.
