Real Betis edge closer to triple signing, Leeds United star Marc Roca involved as deal all but done
Leeds United midfielder Marc Roca is wanted as part of a triple swoop by LaLiga side Real Betis, according to AS.
The Spanish publication says an agreement for Betis to complete a permanent deal for Ayoze Perez is “more on track”, with the forward having spent the second half of last season on loan from Leicester City.
A return for Hector Bellerin, who spent time on loan at Betis during the 2021-22 campaign, is also said to be on the cards.

Roca is also mentioned as a target for Betis boss Manuel Pellegrini, with the midfielder having suffered relegation from the Premier League during his first campaign with the Whites.
The 26-year-old made 32 Premier League appearances last term.
A sale makes sense
Roca was by no means one of the primary reasons for Leeds’ demise last season.
Indeed, before Tyler Adams’ untimely injury, he was forming a decent partnership with the United States international.
Leeds’ main woes were in defence, with three different managers unable to really get to grips with their problems at the back.

That said, with Leeds going through a huge transition off the pitch, in the dugout, and in the playing squad, it makes sense to cash in on Roca now.
Throughout the window, his is a name that has been linked with an exit at Elland Road and a return to Spain after spells with Bayern Munich and Leeds is sure to appeal to him.
With 49ers Enterprises on the brink of taking over full time, a few player sales would raise funds for a new manager to bring in his own signings.
Essentially, it is a sale that makes sense for Leeds for Roca.
In other Leeds United news, Robin Koch could be about to depart Elland Road on loan.
