Raphinha's agent to sit down with Leeds chiefs over potential transfer finances - report

Raphinha’s agent will sit down with Leeds United chiefs this month to discuss the finances behind a potential transfer for the Brazilian, according to UOL Esporte

Raphinha has caught the eye in recent weeks with stunning performances and this form led to reported interest from Liverpool and Man Utd.

UOL Esporte claim the Red Devils spoke to Leeds last week in regards to their valuation of Raphinha and how a transfer could be negotiated.

The report also claims the future of Raphinha will be discussed in a club meeting this month with Deco, the player’s agent, looking to discuss the financial aspect of a potential transfer.

This report could be devastating if it is true as Raphinha has been a revelation since signing for the club in the summer.

Five goals and five assists have followed in the Brazilian’s debut season and it is no surprise he is subject to interest from top clubs.

To only see Raphinha in a Leeds shirt for one season, with the majority of that season played behind closed doors, would be nothing short of an absolute travesty.

We believe these comments should be taken with a pinch of salt as we know the player is happy at Elland Road.

After all, Deco is there to drum up interest in his client so he is simply doing his job.

We hope this report doesn’t have much to it as the player’s reputation would shoot through the floor if it is true that he is looking to explore a move away from Elland Road, especially with Manchester United sniffing around.

Raphinha has been treated as a hero since he joined the club but he may find a potential move to Old Trafford too good to turn down if the player has a desire to play European football.

Hopefully during these reported meetings this month the club can convince Raphinha to stay, if it comes to it we should offer him the biggest contract we can afford.

Losing him would be gutting.
