Raphinha sends message to Crysencio Summerville as he pens new Leeds United deal

Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville has penned a new deal at the club on 2 August, the Whites confirmed on their official website.

The youngster took to Instagram to share his joy and wrote that he is “grateful and proud” to have extended his deal at the iconic club.

Raphinha has sent him a brilliant message on Instagram, where he wrote – “My boy”.

This has been a massive transfer window for the Whites, and it gets even better.

The Whites confirmed that they have agreed new deals with three of their brightest prospects, including Joe Gelhardt and Sam Greenwood.

He has taken the new 10 shirt which has been vacated by Raphinha, and the Brazilian has congratulated him as well.

Raphinha left Leeds to join Barcelona in the summer transfer window, but it appears that he still remains close with players from his former club.

Summerville is an exciting young talent, and it seems Jesse Marsch has full faith in his the youngster’s ability.

He has been brilliant for the Under-23 side, but struggled to make a breakthrough properly for the senior side, unlike Gelhardt. The upcoming season could be huge for him in terms of his development and progress.

The Whites have bolstered their squad this summer, and have added depth in their attacking departments. The 20-year-old will be given opportunities to prove his worth, and the new deal is a testimony of the faith the club has shown in him.

In other Leeds United news, a 29-year-old has snubbed interest from Europe to move to Elland Road with the move subject to a work permit.
