Raphinha laughs at Benrahma after nutmegging him in Leeds vs West Ham

Leeds United suffered a 2-1 loss at the hands of West Ham United at Elland Road at the weekend, but Raphinha impressed.

The Brazilian attacker, 24, put his side ahead before the visitors came from behind to leave with all three points, and he would have been gutted with the result.

Raphinha was in element against the Hammers, though, pulling off some tricks and flicks, and Said Benrahma was at the receiving end of a nutmeg from the South American.

The Leeds ace has seen the funny side to the moment, taking to his personal Instagram account to make fun of West Ham’ Benrahma by uploading a clip of the skill and adding in a shocked face emoji.

Talented player

Raphinha is the complete package, bringing goals, assists, speed, skills and defensive contribution to the Whites attack, and Marcelo Bielsa was aware of what he was getting when he approved the move for him last summer.

The former Rennes man has three Premier League goals so far this term after ending last season with six goals and nine assists in 30 top-flight appearances, and he is only going to get better.

The fans love him as he is entertaining and equally hardworking, and it is not a surprise that some of the league’s bigwigs are keeping tabs on him.

He has also been called up to the Brazilian national team after his impressive start to life in England, and he will be eyeing a place on Tite’s World Cup squad next summer.

If he continues to score, assist and nutmeg players, the Leeds star will definitely be on the plane to Qatar in the coming months, and the Whites have got a very great player on their hands.
