Rangers board 90 minutes away from cash windfall after Leeds United development
Leeds United will have to pay a six-figure sum to Rangers for Glen Kamara if they are promoted to the Premier League via the Play-Offs, according to Rangers Review.
Christopher Jack has reported (17 May) that the Whites will owe the Gers a bonus of up to £500,000 should they win at Wembley.
Leeds paid an initial £5m transfer fee for the Finland international in the summer transfer window with a promotion clause inserted into the contract.
Daniel Farke’s side are one win away from the Premier League as they prepare to face Southampton or West Bromwich Albion in the final.
Has Glen Kamara been a good signing for Leeds United?
Kamara has made 39 Championship appearances for Leeds this season since his move from Ibrox over the summer.
Despite having yet to register a goal, he has put up three assists for his teammates [FotMob] although that isn’t a big part of his game.
He has kept Farke’s side ticking throughout the season which has seen him rack up 2,243 touches and made 1,803 passes with a 92.9 per cent accuracy.
His defending may leave a bit to be desired after winning just 20 tackles over the course of the season.

Although, Leeds have dominated the majority of games they have played so he hasn’t had much defending to do.
For £5m he has proved to be an astute piece of business for a side in the Championship. Should they get promoted, he may be a useful asset as a squad player.
An additional £500k won’t be the end of the world should Leeds secure a Premier League place.
