Quality of Premier League has ‘amazed’ Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch
It has been an up and down start to life in the Premier League for Leeds United manager Jesse Marsch, and the American is loving it.
The former RB Leipzig and RB Salzburg head coach replaced Marcelo Bielsa in the dugout at Elland Road at the beginning of March and experienced his first win in England at home to Norwich on Sunday.
He was on the wrong end of the results in his previous two games with the Whites but hopes to build on last weekend’s win against Wolves tomorrow evening (Friday 18 March).

In his pre-match press conference, Marsch admitted that the quality of the Premier League surprised him greatly but also reaffirmed how much fun he is having in the world’s most popular league.
“There’s the quality of tactics on the pitch and the player on the pitch and when I am scouting matches I am amazed how good the teams are,” Marsch said, as quoted by the Yorkshire Evening Post.
“It tests you every day and can only make you better as a manager. It’s fun, I know I have to get results but I am enjoying the process.”
Here we go
Now Marsch has got that crucial first win under his belt, the Whites may be able to go on a big run of good results to completely quash any relegation fears around LS11.
The manner of Sunday’s win against the Canaries will have given the American even more energy as Joe Gelhardt’s last-minute winner sparked incredible scenes in the home end of Elland Road.

Wolves is a much tougher task however with Bruno Lage’s side chasing a European place and coming off back-to-back victories against Watford and Everton in the last week.
If Leeds can find a way to even get a point from Molineux, that represents a big step forward that can be the building block on which Marsch begins the club’s surge up the Premier League table.
It’s going to be far from easy as you’d expect from any Premier League game but with all the confidence oozing from the veins of the Whites, anything is possible on the night.
In other Leeds United news, defender Robin Koch has been comparing Marsch to his predecessor Marcelo Bielsa.
