Pundit wants Leeds United ace Tyler Adams to join Chelsea as ‘match made in heaven’ verdict shared
Brad Friedel believes Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams should move to Premier League club Chelsea this summer.
The former Tottenham goalkeeper has suggested it would be a “match made in heaven” if the player linked up with Mauricio Pochettino.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs (8 August), Chelsea are happy to proceed with a move for Adams, who is open to the transfer.

“If he has the chance to go to Chelsea and play with Mauricio, then I will go drive up, pick him up and take him down,” Friedel said live on Sky Sports News. “If he didn’t get injured, then I think Leeds stay up.
“Incredible human being, first and foremost. He works harder than anyone I have ever coached in my life. He can play multiple positions. His best position is in the centre of midfield.
“Not tall in stature, but strong, hard as nails, a leader. I can’t say enough good things about him.
“I don’t know what Chelsea are going to do, as far as negotiating the deal. But I know Mauricio Pochettino very well and how he works. I know how Tyler works, and they could be a match made in heaven. If that can happen, I would be absolutely delighted for both Mauricio and Tyler.”

Top talent
Adams really is a top talent, and he was sorely missed in the latter stages of last season as his injury prevented him from helping Leeds in their Premier League relegation fight.
The 24-year-old missed the last 12 matches of the league campaign last time out as his club desperately tried to hang on in the division.
They had to do it without their injured midfielder, who was missing with a hamstring issue, with nobody quite sure how different things could have been if he had been available.
He remains sidelined with the injury, but a more worrying update has now emerged in that he is reportedly open to a switch to Stamford Bridge.
There is no doubting he would thrive under Pochettino, but his exit would leave a real hole in a Leeds midfield that has already been decimated.
It seems near impossible, however, that Daniel Farke or anyone at Leeds could stop the USA star from leaving in the coming weeks.
In other Leeds United news, Adams has sent a seven-word message to one Whites teammate after his debut for the club.
