Pundit flabbergasted ‘GBH’ tackle went unpunished in Leeds United v Sheffield Wednesday clash
Tony Dorigo was left flabbergasted after Sheffield Wednesday ace Barry Bannan wasn’t punished for a poor tackle in the clash against Leeds United.
The Whites played out a 0-0 stalemate with the Owls in their Championship meeting at Elland Road on Saturday (2 September).
The draw leaves the West Yorkshire outfit sitting 15th in the league table with just one win from their five matches so far.

But Dorigo believes they should of at least had an advantage during the clash with Sheffield Wednesday due to Bannan’s challenge on Crysencio Summerville.
Speaking on LUTV (3.31pm, 2 September), Dorigo suggested that the tackle on the Leeds man amounted to grievous bodily harm (GBH).

Misery continues
Leeds really haven’t had the dream start to the new season that fans were wishing for following their relegation from the Premier League last time out.
The Whites were perhaps feeling somewhat optimistic going into the new campaign, even with their lengthy injury list and the fact they lost several senior players in the transfer window.
But Daniel Farke was now in the Leeds dugout, a manager who had been there and done it all before with Norwich City.
The German would have known the difficulties he was heading into both on and off the pitch at Elland Road, but perhaps even he underestimated just how tricky the job would be.
It may only be five matches into the new season, but the Whites are hovering dangerously above the relegation zone.
Along with their one win, they have picked up three draws and have suffered one defeat, which is certainly very far from the ideal start.
In other Leeds United news, Michael Bridges was wowed by a surprise Whites player in “absolutely everything” against Sheffield Wednesday.
