Transfer update on Leeds United defender Diego Llorente with PSG priorities laid bare
PSG have prioritised their pursuit of Leny Yoro as they have put on hold any move for Leeds United defender Diego Llorente, according to Foot Mercato.
The French media outlet reported on 19 January, that Luis Campos, the sporting director of the Ligue 1 champions, is working on signing new players in January.
Llorente is currently out on loan at Roma after a clause in his contract allowed him to seal that move in the event of relegation.

Get it done
Selling Llorente to PSG, an oil-rich club, could potentially be a win-win situation for everyone involved, particularly Leeds.
Firstly, if PSG are genuinely the Spaniard, it indicates that he is still a valuable asset in the transfer market and the Whites could fetch a reasonable transfer fee.
For Llorente, a move to the Parc des Princes presents an opportunity to play at the highest level of European football and under Luis Enrique, he might find a fresh start and the chance to prove himself in a different league.

Considering the reported dissatisfaction with Llorente’s conduct during his move in the summer, parting ways could also eliminate any potential disruptions or negative influences in the squad, fostering a more cohesive team environment under Daniel Farke.
Jose Mourinho, the man who wanted Llorente at Roma, has recently been sacked and his replacement may not fancy the centre-back as much and may not mind parting ways with the player.
In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay claims that the Whites are seriously considering acceptable offers for one player with a new signing on the cards.
