Press conference set for today at Leeds United after Sam Allardyce
Leeds United are set to hold a media conference today ahead of their clash with Manchester City in the Premier League, according to the Daily Star.
The newspaper has reported in its print edition [03 May, pg 43] that Sam Allardyce will meet the players at Thorp Arch today before sitting in front of the media.
Javi Gracia has still not been formally announced as sacked yet, but it is believed that he has already packed his bags and waved goodbye to the club.

They wrote: “Allardyce’s first job will be to unite a fractured dressing room following a dismal run of just one win in the last seven games.
“He is expected to meet the players today for the first time and hold a media conference at the club’s training ground.”

Strange.
Leeds are playing this one very weirdly, and it’s as if those behind the scenes don’t really have a clue what they are doing – something we have suspected for months now.
Everyone knows Allardyce is taking over and is meeting the players today, yet Gracia still hasn’t been sacked, why are they waiting and hiding everything behind a transparent wall of secrecy?
Andrea Radrizzani has had to say goodbye to Victor Orta as well in the last 24 hours, relieving him of his duties, as those around him continue to get smaller.
It won’t be long until the calls grow even louder for him and Angus Kinnear to pack their bags too, something that relegation would no doubt see happen.
That is the most likely outcome right now though, and it wouldn’t be Allardyce’s fault, he has been thrown into the deep end with a squad that doesn’t look like they fancy the fight.
Hopefully, he can change that and quickly.
In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay has shared that three more sackings are on the way at Elland Road after Orta was left to go it alone
