Premier League survival secured for Leeds United as Jesse Marsch set for Leicester job
Leicester City are in advanced talks with former Leeds United boss Jesse March over their vacant managerial position, according to The Telegraph journalist John Percy.
The American coach was sacked by Leeds back in February after leading them into a relegation battle, with Javi Gracia eventually replacing him and winning three of his first seven in charge.
And according to Percy, taking to his personal Twitter account [8 April] to reveal the news confirmed that the former Red Bull Leipzig manager is set for a return to Premier League management.

He tweeted: “Leicester City are in advanced talks with Jesse Marsch as they move to appoint a new head coach. Marsch closing in on a return to Premier League management.”
Marsch only managed to win four of his 20 Premier League games this season before he was sacked, but that hasn’t stopped him from attracting the attention of some of the Whites’ relegation rivals.
However, given his eventual struggles at Elland Road before his inevitable sacking, Leeds United and their fans will certainly be laughing at Leicester for their managerial appointment, given there were arguably better options at hand to replace Brendan Rodgers.
The Whites have been in terrific form in recent weeks with Gracia picking up an impressive 10 points from his seven games in charge so far, giving Leeds United the best chance of survival heading into their crucial clash against Crystal Palace on Sunday [9 April].
As a result of their terrific form, the Whites can have no complaints about the sacking of Marsch and it should indeed be considered a masterstroke decision by the Leeds United board.

And the fact that Leicester deems the American coach the most suitable candidate to get them out of relegation trouble is simply baffling and with have the Elland Road faithful even more confident that they can secure their Premier League status for next season.
As it stands Leeds are in 13th place, two points above the relegation zone with nine games to play this season.
However, one of those games on 25 April will see the Foxes come to Elland Road to face Leeds in what could be a relegation six-pointer with just a handful of games remaining.
And Leeds United fans will be dreaming of resigning Marsch’s Leicester City to the Championship in that crucial game.
In other Leeds news, a major boost for the Whites as four Crystal Palace players are ruled out of the weekend clash between the sides.
