Premier League really do not care after new Leeds United announcement made public
Leeds United have been left in limbo over some upcoming Premier League games.
At the second time of asking, Leeds were promoted to the Premier League, before winning the Championship for good measure last May.
Despite Leeds chairman Paraag Marathe saying Daniel Farke would be handed a transfer war chest, many fans were left underwhelmed by their summer signings.
However, a superb run of form has seen Leeds go eight points clear of the relegation zone, just weeks after Farke was reportedly at risk of being sacked.
Now, the scale of their concerns have shrunk, but a Premier League fixture shake-up has left many shaking their heads.
Leeds victims of Premier League fixtures reshuffle
In the Championship, Leeds got used to playing three games a week on a regular basis.
And while Leeds fans groaned every time a broadcaster, such as Sky Sports, moved one of their matches so that it could be televised, those complaints are less vocal this season in the Premier League.
But, BBC Sports journalist Adam Pope has been quick to highlight the farcical nature of games being moved for TV purposes in a sardonic tweet.
Indeed, Leeds were scheduled to play Sunderland at 8pm on 4 March at Elland Road but now, TNT Sports will broadcast the game, meaning the match will now kick off a day earlier at 7.30pm.
And, their home clash against Brentford has been moved from 3pm on 21 March to either 8pm, 12.30pm, or 5.30pm on that day.
Sky Sports have picked up this game but the kick-off is subject to the Carabao Cup final and the Champions League. The Premier League state the final date and timings for this contest will be confirmed by 2 March.
Leeds face crucial period of the season
In August, Leeds boss Farke expressed his frustration at the lack of attacking signings as they tried to start the season on the right foot.
But after Leeds’ summer recruits have begun to come good in recent weeks, the German has been less outspoken about transfer dealings.
Leeds have been linked with further additions after the loan capture of Facundo Buonanotte but for now, it is all quiet on that front.
And while they have a good cushion above the relegation zone, Farke will be well aware that results can change quickly, just as they did for Leeds in December.

After West Ham beat Tottenham at the weekend, Leeds fans will hope they can get a result at Everton next Monday, while the Hammers slip up against Sunderland this weekend.
Leeds host league leaders Arsenal and relegation-threatened Nottingham Forest in their next two home games. If they can win some of these, their safety may be all but assured.
