'Pleasure' - Manchester City star posts on Instagram after Bielsa reunion at Leeds win

Manchester City star Aymeric Laporte has posted on Instagram after the defender was at Elland Road to watch Leeds United beat Huddersfield Town 2-0.

The Frenchman was at Athletic Bilbao with Bielsa before moving to the Premier League – somewhere Bielsa will be hoping he follows next season.

Laporte followed Benjamin Mendy through the doors at Elland Road this season, as his fellow defender came to watch the memorable 3-2 victory over Millwall.

Laporte shared the picture of him and his former manager on his personal Instagram account on Saturday night, claiming it was great to reunite after the 2-0 win – something that put a huge smile on Bielsa’s face.

“A pleasure to meet again,” he accompanied the image with.

Laporte was treated to yet another Bielsa masterclass as the Whites scored early and then turned the screw in the second half to stroll to three points.

Making it look easy has become a big part of the way Leeds play, and Huddersfield suffered. Looking at Sofa Score, the home side had 10 more shots on goal and completed 174 more accurate passes in the derby – something which Laporte would have enjoyed having worked under Bielsa and Pep Guardiola.
