Pierre Kunde set to jet into England after Leeds United transfer news emerges

Leeds United are showing a strong interest to sign Olympiakos midfielder Pierre Kunde this summer, according to Nova Sports.

The Greek outlet has reported on its website that the Whites are looking for new signings that will help them return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

Kunde is ready to move on and everything suggests that he will be packing his bags to fly into England ahead of sealing the next stage of his career.

Leeds United

The Cameroon enforcer spent last season on loan at German side, Bochum, who were not left convinced enough to turn that into a permanent switch.

Leeds may have a rebuild job on their hands in midfield with Marc Roca already on the verge of an exit to join Real Betis, and speculation swirling round Tyler Adams.

One to Watch.

With Leeds still having no new manager in place, it appears strange that this link has emerged so strongly.

It doesn’t just say that the Whites are interested, but that Kunde is ready to jet into England for the next step in his career, so something must be brewing.

Interestingly, out of the managerial candidates, he has played for one and that was Carlos Corberan at Olympiakos, which could see some connections made.

Leeds will have brought up transfer plans in talks with potential new managers if they have been spoken too already, so it would make sense that midfield may have come up in those.

The Whites are weak in that area, although one positive from relegation is that we may see more of Archie Gray and Darko Gyabi in the Championship.

This is certainly one to watch over the coming weeks, with the transfer window set to open in only a couple of days, things are really starting to heat up.

In other Leeds United news, the 49ers have put their foot on the gas to appoint their new manager with interviews taking place this week
