Phil Hay: These are the signings Leeds want to make after Rodrigo and Koch
Leeds United stepped up their transfer business on Saturday, confirming that Rodrigo had signed on a four-year deal.
Meanwhile, Freiburg centre-back Robin Koch was pictured on a plane as he closes in on a Leeds deal.
They’re two brilliant signings but even if they get both over the line, Leeds won’t be done.
In an update on his Twitter page, Athletic journalist Phil Hay delivered the exciting news that Leeds could be set to make another two transfers, a winger/number 10 and another centre-back.
News gets better and better
This is fantastic news for Leeds. We wondered whether Rodrigo would be the only attacking signing that Leeds make.
He can play as a striker, a second striker and on the flanks and that versatility would give Bielsa options.
However, another attacking option would really give Leeds a powerful arsenal for their first season back in the Premier League.
Said Benrahma has been mentioned but it was said that Bielsa had cooled on him after he posted an overblown holiday video.

The importance of another centre-back can’t be overstated either.
Leeds were short at the back last season and have lost Ben White (back to Brighton) and Gaetano Berardi (to injury).
Koch might be a top-quality replacement for White but it would still leave Leeds one shorter than last season, and just one injury away from a real crisis.
Hay had previously insisted that Bielsa only wanted one centre-back but it looks like he might have been convinced that another is sensible.
We believe it’s essential as does MOT Leeds News columnist Paul Robinson.
And, if Leeds do sign a quality winger/number 10 and a centre-back, we think this will have been a brilliant summer of business for the club.
