Phil Hay shares what Jesse Marsch told him about Leeds United transfers, new addition next week
Phil Hay has shared that Jesse Marsch expects a new arrival at Leeds United next week with nothing set for before the Premier League opener against Wolves.
It means the Whites will go into that game and the new season without a recognised left-back with Pascal Struijk now expected to fill that role.
Leeds are said to want a new left-back, striker and now an experienced goalkeeper to provide competition and knowledge for Illan Meslier.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Hay shared what he was told about potential new arrivals at Elland Road during this window.
“Marsch, though, is indicating that more experienced goalkeeping back-up for Meslier will be signed before the end of the window,” he wrote.
“Suggested we’ll see an incoming next week.”
Three needed.
Leeds need three more new faces to make this the perfect window in terms of incomings.
Addressing the midfield crisis was always going to be critical, and we are set to start the new Premier League season with Marc Roca and Tyler Adams, so that gets a tick.
Patrick Bamford is now firing on all cylinders and has Joe Gelhardt in support, so a new striker isn’t as vital as we once thought it was.
Left-back is the real concern, and Struijk could really be targeted by Wolves if they want to try and cause problems, but that may be the only game we need to bite our nails for.
With a new face expected through the door next week, surely that will be another full-back, with that issue nothing short of a disaster after Junior Firpo picked up that problem.
All eyes are now on Wolves, but as soon as that one finishes up, it looks as though we will be getting the red carpet out for another new arrival – here we go.
