Phil Hay shares what he has heard as Dan James-Leeds links emerge
Leeds United have once again been linked with Manchester United winger Daniel James as the window comes to an end.
Alan Nixon has shared that the Red Devils have offered numerous Premier League clubs the chance to sign the Welshman.
Phil Hay has shared what he has heard over the weekend, with the player now made available in the final 48 hours of the window.

Writing in an Athletic Q&A this weekend, Hay shared what he has heard about the Whites’ chances of signing James.
“It goes without saying that Leeds and Bielsa have a long, long interest in him,” he said.
“Our understanding is that he will be made available by Man Utd (although whether he’ll want to go is another matter). It’s not a secret that Bielsa likes him.”

Big fan.
Marcelo Bielsa is clearly a big admirer of James but did admit after the 1-1 draw against Burnley today that signings were unlikely.
Things can quickly change in the final days of a transfer window, and with the winger now reportedly available, Victor Orta may be kicked into action.
We aren’t expecting signings between now and Tuesday evening, but if it did happen, it would surely not surprise anyone at Elland Road.
James could have played his farewell game against Wolves this afternoon, and it would seriously help our squad depth.
Raphinha and Jack Harrison have no-one senior behind them apart from Helder Costa, and the Portuguese winger is simply not good enough.
Let’s hope that things progress quickly at the start of this week.
