Phil Hay report details how much Leeds and Arsenal may have to pay for 24y/o
Leeds United and Arsenal may need to pay somewhere in the region of £18million to sign Emiliano Buendia from Norwich City this month.
According to a report from The Athletic, who use a graphic from AI Abacus, the proposed transfer fee for the Argentine is just shy of the £20million mark.
They estimate that transfer fee would come with a four-year deal that could see the playmaker earn around £30,000 per week in his next move.
Buendia has been heavily linked with a move away from Carrow Road after failing to secure an exit over the summer.
The Norwich man was touted as a potential target for the Whites back in the summer and is now attracting interest from Arsenal.

To put it simply, if Leeds could negotiate a deal for Buendia for under £20million, it would have to be viewed as one of the bargains of the January window.
The Athletic report details Leeds’ interest in Rodrigo De Paul and estimates that it could cost them around double that to bring him in from Serie A side Udinese.
Buendia proved his worth in the Premier League last season and according to Wyscout, he made the fifth highest smart passes throughout the entire division last season.
For context, only Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, Mohamed Salah and James Maddison ranked higher – which highlights just how well he stepped up in the Premier League, despite Norwich’s relegation.
The Norwich man is showing his class once again in the Championship this season, with seven goals and seven assists so far.
