Phil Hay relays Daniel Farke update on Leeds United trio Tyler Adams, Junior Firpo and Jack Harrison

Phil Hay has shared Daniel Farke’s quotes on Leeds United trio Tyler Adams, Junior Firpo and Jack Harrison as they’re all missing from pre-season training.

The German claims that they’re all nursing different injury concerns and will not be returning until the start of next season.

Adams has been missing in action since last season but Harrison and Firpo have picked up recent setbacks.

Hay wrote on Twitter, “A few bits from Farke – Harrison and Adams won’t be fit for the start of the season. Still rehabbing and could be out until after the first international break.

“Firpo has a ligament injury and will also miss the start of the season.”

Chaos

All three players are now not looking likely to be available for at least the first couple of games at the start of the new campaign.

It remains to be seen what happens over their futures as they’re linked with the exit door this summer.

Leeds Live reported on 20 July that the Whites are keen on retaining the services of both Adams and Harrison who’ve been linked with moves away from the club.

Ok Fichajes claim on 22 July that three Spanish sides already have offers in to sign Firpo this summer.

However, with the three players now injured, interested teams may look at other options as they will want names that are fit and ready to deliver from the get go.

Firpo’s exit may not affect Leeds fans too much but if Adams was to go, it would be viewed as a massive blow for the club.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites have agreed on personal terms to secure their next signing after Ethan Ampadu.
